Running an architecture studio means we need some info from folks who reach out to us. But honestly? We're not into selling your data or spamming you with nonsense. We've got buildings to design and heritage sites to restore - that's what gets us up in the morning, not diving into databases.
When you fill out our contact form or shoot us an email, yeah, we're gonna keep your name, email, phone number, and whatever details you share about your project. That's pretty much it. If you visit our site, standard web stuff gets logged - IP address, browser type, pages you clicked through. Nothing creepy, just the usual server logs that every website has.
Sometimes during projects, we'll have contracts and communications with clients that contain more detailed info. That stuff stays locked down tight in our project management systems.
Pretty straightforward - we use your contact info to get back to you about architectural services. If you're inquiring about a restoration project or commercial design, we need those details to give you a proper response. We might reference past conversations when you reach out again so we're not starting from scratch every time.
We don't do newsletters (honestly, who has time to write those?), but if you've worked with us before, we might drop you a line if something relevant comes up. Like if there's a change in heritage building regulations that affects your property or whatever.
Our team at Tandreli Forge - that's architects, project managers, and admin staff who need access to do their jobs. That's it for internal folks.
Sometimes we work with external consultants - structural engineers, heritage specialists, sustainability experts. If your project involves them, they'll see relevant info. We make sure they're following similar privacy practices.
We're not selling or renting your info to anyone. Period. Not happening. We're architects, not data brokers.
We use basic cookies to keep the site functioning properly and understand which pages people actually look at. No crazy ad tracking or behavioral profiling. If you're using standard browser settings, you're probably already accepting cookies from most sites anyway.
We might use Google Analytics or similar tools to see general traffic patterns - like which service pages get the most hits or where visitors are coming from. It helps us figure out if anyone actually cares about our heritage preservation work (spoiler: they do).
Project files and client communications? We hang onto those for several years because architecture projects have long timelines and there are legal requirements around record-keeping in our profession. Random inquiries that don't go anywhere might stay in our system for a year or two, then get cleared out.
If you specifically ask us to delete your info and there's no legal reason we need to keep it, we'll take care of that within a reasonable timeframe.
Since we're based in Canada, you've got rights under privacy laws here. You can ask what info we have about you, request corrections if something's wrong, or ask us to delete it (within reason - we can't delete stuff we legally need to keep).
If you wanna exercise any of those rights, just email us at info@tandrelithforgequint.info or call (416) 555-0847. We'll sort it out without making you jump through hoops.
We take reasonable precautions to protect your data. Our systems are password-protected, we use secure servers, and sensitive project files are encrypted. Are we Fort Knox? No. But we're not careless either. We follow industry-standard practices for a firm our size.
If there's ever a data breach (knock on wood), we'll let affected people know in accordance with Canadian privacy laws.
Sometimes we link to other websites - maybe a manufacturer's site for sustainable building materials or a heritage organization we've partnered with. Once you click away from our site, their privacy policies apply, not ours. We can't control what they do, so check their policies if you're concerned.
If we need to update this privacy policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. For major changes, we might send a heads-up to clients we're actively working with. But let's be real - privacy policies don't change that often unless there's new legislation or we significantly change how we operate.
If something in here doesn't make sense or you've got specific questions about how we handle your information, don't hesitate to reach out. We'd rather explain it in plain language than have you wondering.
